In my PreAlgebra class, I am making sure that my students are ready for high school Algebra 1 as well as College Algebra. This week we are learning all about Geometry and today's lesson is about Angles and Triangles.

Do you know how to tell if an angle is a right, straight, acute or obtuse angle? What about if an angle is complementary or supplementary?

Almost everyone knows what a right triangle is but do you know what an equilateral, isosceles, scalene, obtuse or acute triangle are?

Today my students will learn what each of these angles and triangles are as well as how to use a protractor. I know that I am teaching future architects, engineers, farriers and homeschooling moms and each of my students will use today's lesson as adults! That is a wonderful feeling KNOWING that TODAY, I am teaching a skill that WILL be used in the future of my students!!

What are you learning today to help you in your future?
